PRSSA Celebrates Thanksgiving

The Public Relations Student Society of America held their annual Thanksgiving Dinner on Sunday, November 18. This tradition is always an exciting event for PRSSA members because they get to spend time with friends and eat a delicious home-cooked meal.

Those in attendance enjoyed a spread of Thanksgiving favorites: turkey and stuffing, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, and macaroni and cheese. For dessert, there was ice cream, cookies, and even warm brownies. It was good enough to keep even the biggest food-critic happy.

“The PRSSA thanksgiving dinner is such a fun way to network outside of our weekly meetings,” VP of Social Media Marisa Dockum said. “And, it made me extra excited to go home for a second Thanksgiving with my family!”

As they ate, the PRSSA members went around and announced what they were most thankful for. “This semester almost being over,” one member joked.

For sophomore Maria Snyder, this was her first time attending the event. As she loaded her plate with steaming food, she said, “Let’s do this every week!”

All in all, the PRSSA Thanksgiving Dinner was – once again – a great success.
